Many of you have expressed a strong interest in participating in a session of Model Builder Level 2 training. Currently, Anaplan only offers the online version of L2 training (our Academy team is busy creating an instructor led L2 offering, but it won’t be ready until later this year). Matthew Kuo, a Master Anaplanner at Tableau, reached out to me to help proctor L2 training along with one of our partners – Allitix with support from Anaplan. This collaboration has been in the works for several months and now we’re ready to invite you to join us virtually Mar 31st – Apr 2nd.

To properly set expectations:

Participants should have completed Model Builder L1 (or, 102 & 201 training). If you have not completed L1 but still want to attend, you’re more than welcome to join us as you work through Level 1 training and utilize our team for questions!

This training will be proctored – not instructor led. This means a team of people will help guide folks through parts of the online training, we will also field questions and we will facilitate group discussions.

Since this training is self-paced, free, and completely voluntary, attendees are free to attend any or all sessions as their schedules permit.

It is possible you will not complete the course or achieve L2 certification even if you attend all 3 days, but you should have every expectation that you will make significant progress towards that goal.

Process:

One of our team members will be going through the self-paced Level 2 class on the webex session. They will be playing the videos and answering questions. When it’s time for model building activities, we’ll allow everyone time to go and build on their own. Webex allows for 1:1 or 1:many chats and we can share direct connections for more detailed questions.

We will pause and discuss key concepts throughout the course and have larger group conversation if the same or similar questions are being asked.
